Did you know that you could turn WordPress into Drupal with a plugin? Or create an iPhone emulator? Or control a robot that could build a tower taller than the Burj? Plugins can do anything… but should they?
If you are ever looking for a plugin and not finding anything, take a few minutes to make sure that you actually need a plug-in. Many times what you are looking for is built into WordPress or your browser or would be better as a browser extension.
We will take a look at several common tasks that can be done without plugins, then dig into several other site architecture questions.
Remember just because you can do something, doesn’t mean you should do it.
