Applicants will be notified soon!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Deadline to apply is <\/strong><s>August 1, 2023<\/s><strong>.<\/strong> <strong>Extended to August 7!<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Speakers get a free ticket to WordCamp and an invitation to a VIP dinner prior to the event, but are not otherwise compensated.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sessions cannot be sales pitches for your product or services.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Each session will be recorded and submitted to&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/wordpress.tv\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">WordPress.tv<\/a>, so you\u2019ll need to sign an A\/V release form.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We will request presentation slides for review a few weeks before WordCamp. Make sure you can meet that deadline.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Once speaker applications close, the WordCamp Rochester organizing team will review the submissions based on topic and assumed interest to attendees, and quality of the application.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you&#8217;d like to propose multiple topics, please submit the form multiple times, once for each topic. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Thanks for your interest in speaking and helping us put on an amazing WordCamp Rochester on September 30, 2023!
